Our story
Good things, for every chapter.
StarBuy is fine everyday jewelry, run out of Arlington, Virginia. The list is short on purpose: every piece is chosen one at a time, for the way it wears.
How it started
It started in another aisle.
StarBuy opened as a shop for new parents. The people who bought from it kept growing, and so did what they were looking for. Jewelry is the chapter we are in now.
The list is deliberately small: every piece has to earn its place, and most of what we look at does not. We would rather show you a short list we stand behind than a wall of everything.
We work in sterling and stone: 925 sterling silver, lab-grown moissanite, gold vermeil over sterling and 14k gold-filled. Nothing here pretends to be something it is not, and the product pages say exactly what each piece is made of.
What we will not compromise
Four rules we run the shop by.
One version of each piece
We do not stock three near-identical hoops and let you work out which is which. We pick the one we would keep wearing and drop the rest.
Chosen, never bulk-listed
Nothing goes up because it is cheap to add. Each piece is chosen for its finish, its weight and how it wears day after day.
Materials named plainly
We say gold vermeil over 925 sterling, not "gold finish". Sterling is stamped 925. Moissanite is called moissanite, never a diamond.
A small team that replies
